At the age of 4, Connor wasn’t asking for a Tonka Truck or a Matchbox car, his toy came with a real engine and tires that needed changing. After seeing a neighborhood boy driving a go-kart on his street, he knew he needed to have one of his own. On his 5th Birthday Connors dream came true, he got his very own Tony Kart with a 50cc Comer engine. His foot hit the accelerator for the first time and hasn’t let off since.

Connor's 2012 Star Mazda race season had a shaky start only signing with a team two weeks before the season opener. Connor won the first race of the season on the Streets of St. Petersburg for the second year in a row and again at the "Night Before the Indy 500". Then his season took a turn for the worst have repeated engine problems which had ruined his chances for the title.

By the last race of the season Connor tied for 3rd but with the tie breaker rule Connor ended up 4th overall for the Star Mazda Championship.

2012 didn't end up so bad after all, with thoughts of his career possibly over he got the call of a lifetime. He was invited to Germany to test for a Scholarship with Porsche Junior Program. After intense tryouts he was selected with one other driver to race in the Porsche Carrera Cup in Germany for 2013!
